I do not know for sure as I have never planned (or attended) a meet. Me thinks (for some reason) that Victory should be the final destination.

We should ask the other attendees what they would like ...

    Anyone care to chime in?

Ooooph. Has anyone been to Marsh creek? That's one tough park to find! I had great plans of spending a few hours mountain biking there before i had to get back and grab dinner with the rents, well, like 2 hrs later I finally found it! I guess that's not saying much, but I could forsee a lot of people having a hard time finding it. Granted, that area is nice to drive around.

Here's a map of the Park if anyone wants to look: http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/statepar...reek_maps.aspx
The best place to meet would be the northern side of the lake since there's plenty of parking up there.

I've never been to one of these meets. Are they fun? I'd feel pretty out of place since this is the first time I've chimed in. I am really into my car though!

Marsh creek is SIMPLE to find from the turnpike.

    1. Exit the turnpike at the West Chester/Pottstown exit
    2. Take the North Pottstown Pike/Rt100 ramp after toll
    3. Drive north on rt 100 for like...2 miles. Bare left onto Little Conestoga Rd. at the fork.
    4. Take little conestoga for about 100ft. Turn left onto Park Rd.
    5. Follow park road until you cant go straight anymore..takes you right into the park.

There is a big parking area that we could all meet in right by the lake where we could get some BEAUTIFUL shots of the cars if we wanted to do some photos. I think Marsh Creek is an awesome destination to meet and then cruise to Victory (there are some awesome twisties in the backroads into downgingtown!!!)

If anyone needs more info or directions PM me.

It seems to me 10 am is a tad early to meet there. Fun drive first, then beer and food? Northern Chester county is great for fun drives ... although some of the back roards are really rough!
hey we should put together a little 'fun run' of twisty drives in area...im thinking Rock Raymond road area/Little Conestoga...or we could cruise up to French Creek State Park...AWESOME twisty drive you guys got me all excited now...

I'm trying to put together a "fun run" about an hour long that will get us from Marsh Creek State Park to Victory. I'm not all that familiar with the roads in that area.

If you have some ideas for a "fun run" PM them to me.

i should be able to make it, since its only like 10 mintues from my place. havnt been to Victory in nearly a year, damn i miss the food and beer

i'll probly skip the drive, last few that i've attended before/after meets have had a few minor incidents, a few almost involving the cops.

    Sweet! Right on.

This shouldn't be a big group with any problems with the cops, but it's your call.

Hey everyone. We're just a little more than a week away from this wonderful event!! w00t!!

If anyone else would like to attend please post it up in this thread. I'm going to be making reservations on Moday based on the current list of attendees.

I am very much looking forward to this meet. Victory has outstanding beer, the country side is very beautiful right now and we're going to have a very good crew coming out.

    PM me with any questions.

I'm excited to see everyone there!
