Cool The 2013 Food Drive - PhillySCCA

SCCA - Philadelphia Region announces The 2013 Food Drive (Charity Rally) Saturday, December 14, 2013 info at Yardley Park and Ride, Wasington Crossing, PA 18977 (6638) - MotorsportReg.com

This charity road rally will take you through scenic Bucks, Hunterdon and Warren Counties just in time to put you in the spirit of giving. Just as we did in 2012, your entry fee will be 5 donatable food times for Philabundance.

The items that we can accept for donation are:

    Canned/ Shelf-stable tuna
    Macaroni and Cheese
    Canned Pasta
    Canned Beef Stew
    Canned Chili
    Creamy Peanut Butter
    Jelly
    Canned Green Beans
    Canned Corn
    Canned Fruit
    Breakfast Cereal and Hot Cereal

Exceeding the 5 item registration minimum will benefit your score!

This will be a GTA style rally, time will not be a factor in this year's event. The course notes and instructions will NOT be available before registration at the Park and Ride. We will start at the Washington Crossing/Yardley Park and Ride http://goo.gl/maps/Hs2SQ.

Registration will open at 1PM and the first car will be off at approx. 2PM. We'll be wrapping things up in the New Hope area for dinner and awards (location TBD). We will offer novice and experienced classes. If you've done more than 3 Philly SCCA region rallies in the last 3 years you should consider the experienced class.

Please note that this rally will contain some unpaved surfaces. The entire route was pre-run using a Scion FR-S and there were no issues with ground clearance. You may want to leave your Pagani Zonda at home for this event but those of you in lowered vehicles should be fine.

    PM me with any questions!!!

61 views about a rally, no takers? I remember when WRX people would jump at the chance for some back road driving.
