Sorry you lost us.

There is no way to have a line of ~ 30 cars stay together over that many miles. I pull out painfully slow from a stop sign ... like I'm towing a yacht. This seems to have no real effect after several cars.

wow, just saw the video. what a shame people can't even follow basic traffic laws like stopping at a stop sign.

i'l miss the fun runs, but will still like the meets. talking with friends is the best part.

I totally understand.....I was legging out the guy in front of me by nearly 1/2 a mile at times to keep the guys behind me who were stuck at the lights in toe.

Maybe break the group up into 8-12 car sets with a lead driver who knows the rout. You will have more control over speed and less chance of getting left at a turn/STOP sign.....?

I agree partially with this. It would be better to split into groups, that way people aren't worried about losing the group and running stop signs to keep up. But then I saw the video on YouTube and saw people going way to fast for those back roads. Granted multiple group leaders would keep people from doing that. But... People should be responsible enough not drive like jerks and not have to be chaperoned.

I'm only saying this because I just got my car not even a month ago and cant wait to go to my first meet with a possible cruise around. It would suck if all that got ruined for me

Fun run or not, I will always be down for a good time, talking shop, viewing cool cars, great food and drink, and most importantly enjoying the camaraderie with my friends and the new people who are about the community (and not the asshats who ruin the fun for everything else).

it's been a little while my Russian is pretty rusty (it was more for me than for you) choot choot would be more colloquial than malinki.

yeah i worked on a russian cruiseship for blasco(black sea shipping co) so it had the hammer n sickle flag so we spoke / learnt some basic russian , then while i was there the federation fell and the ship raised the ukrainian flag and suddenly they didnt speak russian they spoke ukrainian ...sounded similar imho ....

but was a good time / fun while i was there

That's pretty awesome. Ukranian and Russian are pretty similar, some conjugation/stresses are different but on the whole they are rather close. I spent a summer in Moscow back in 2009, had a blast.

I really want to go to Ekaterinburg, I've got a friend that lives there. And to go to Chernobyl for the last year since it's open to tourists now
