south jersey car meet place ^_^

hey all, i have a good place for a car meet, its in delran and it shares a parking lot with a wendys, the cops may kick us out cause they can be dbags here, but just a suggestion since its an empty parking lot used for nothing ^_^
and its also right across the road from a wawa so if you get hungry or need some gas

i would love to set one up here or atleast go to a car meet thats close to me, ive never been to one and they seem so much fun, but anyways its just a suggestion for anyone whos nearby and wants to set one up ^_^

My suggestion for a meet... People don't want to go stand around and look at cars. They want to drive them. Girlfriends don't want to ride in cars, they want to do something... So I try and combine the two.

I do a meet every 3-6 months or so that started as 10 people, and has grown to 60. I do a meeting spot. 1hr car show. Then we take a 45 minute mountain drive up to a brewery where we all eat, drink, and be merry. After that we head out to do some more mountain driving, or head home... depending on the weather and time we're done eating.

I also do an annual camping meet. A long drive through mountainous terrain that ends at a camping site. Last year it was 10 people... we'll see how many can get off work this year.

Also... Just set a meet. If you give people a month advanced notice... it's a lot better than, "hey... you guys wanna meet tomorrow night at so and so?"

true, as you can tell ive never done this before xD and plus im a senior in hs so i got exams coming up soon and cant be setting stuff up like that o.O but thats why i wanna go to a few meets so i know exactly what its about and just try to get a few people from my area

Good luck in that lot. Delran cops put the lockdown on meets a few years ago, mostly because of all the d-bag Honda drivers in our area that f things up.

If it's peaceful, then there is nothing they can do about it.

I'd join in a SJ meetup, I'm down in Salem county, so everything is far away for me. But follow as much of Sinister's advice as you can, that sounds like some good stuff. I would need some warning so I can make plans. I suggest you find a park or something with a big lot for us to meet, maybe do like a tailgate kind of event. Once you get a place, date and time, make a new thread asking who can make it.
