I never liked them. Especially mine.
I enjoyed it much more when I was truly single...but the open bar certainly helps me like them

An open bar with truly great beer would not help me to like them. Weddings suck.

Voted! Can't do May 12th (SCCA Regionals ) and most days in April, but the car is actually running now!

I'm not a fan. I don't dance, so receptions are kinda meh. I also have a bit of social anxiety, so if I don't know too many people there, I get uncomfortable quick.

While it wouldn't make me enjoy the reception, I would enjoy it more than a bar with nothing but Bud, Miller, or Coors...

Exactly. That is me as well. The Victory Meets are about as social as I get.

I have no problem with Subaru meets, for the simple fact that there is a common interest that pretty much everyone who attends shares. It's the gatherings that I don't have that common ground where the anxiety creeps in...

My only question when we met with the caterer for the first time was about beer. I was satisfied when told "Just tell me which ones you want...we'll get them."

I enjoyed my own homebrew on my wedding day. The event hall management asked me to keep that to myself.

Everyone else had their normally served American standard "Pilsner".

Lol. My friend gave out homebrews as favors, I may steal that idea from him.

One bonus to going with Citizen's Bank Park as the venue (amongst many) is that the caterer is Aramark. It seems like their size is making it so that some concerns (like the beer) that we've seen with other caterers will not be concerns for us. Very easy to work with.
