What time did you pick yours up? Was yours the one on the showroom floor??

I just bought my 2013 Gray STI from Clayton and picked up yesterday. Great experience fast and simple to deal with versus Town Motors. I would highly recommend anyone within a few hours drive to go to him for a great deal. He even threw in the first oil change for free.

I picked it up @ 2:30pm. I hadn't seen the car until I picked it up so I don't know if it was on the showroom but I think it was only the silver limited on the floor. I had dealt with him over the phone and saw that there was a gray STI base in inventory a week ago so I jumped on it.

How do you handle the shipping/delivery part? There's already a destination fee to you from Subaru, right? And it's like $765 or so. If one buys from you, do they then pay that destination charge PLUS another shipping charge to their home state? With me being in AZ and you in NJ, I'd guess shipping the car here would run at least another $1K.

Just wondering how the shipping works.

Sean, Unfortunately I cannot have it shipped to you or to your local dealership. Destination is to get the car from japan to the port, to the dealership. I'd agree it would probably cost $1k to ship it to AZ so it probably wont work out to buy it from me, but let me know if you need any help/advice with the buying process and I'll be glad to help.

I just ordered one from freehold dodge subaru I really wish i saw this before because they kind of sucked to deal with and im sure i ddint get the car for 500 under invoice. I had to trade in my srt-4 though so maybe that's how ill rationalize it.
