Clayton is such an awesome and easy person to purchase from. I just got my new Rex from him today and it was butter smooth! No hiccups and as helpful as can be. Believe me guys, stop bugging him, the wait is totally worth it! Click image for larger version.

What do you think about this? Is this for real? Do other dealerships do this?

According to the OP of that thread he's serious. I am against it but nothing we can do.

I would like to know what Clayton thinks. But it's really hard to believe. The OP is not telling us something haha. If other people find out about that deal in that dealership, they're going to want a "loaner" wrx while they wait for their order..

Clayton, how has the allocation been on CVT deliveries? Are the wait times longer, these 14-18 week times are scaring me.

Is there an "easiest" build to get in terms of turn around time?

    I'm ready to order...

Good timing, Prerak77 just cancelled his CVT order after 16 weeks of waiting (cant blame him ) but his order is up for grabs now, so that car should be a relatively very quick turnaround at this point it is first in line, IE the next car built with those specs goes to us. It is a limited, no nav, galaxy blue. Call me at work and I'll set it up and you would have it sooner than anywhere else, 201-327-0070 x 5211

First of all the OP in that thread is in CA, land of insane WRX pricing... so it is not too much of a stretch that the dealer will be able to take someone super deep on the car when he brings it back. Also perhaps they make a good profit on the guy when he buys all the extras and so on. I could totally see this happening. I wouldn't do it personally as a dealer, but it is totally feasible.
