I'm all in for this rain/shine/whatever...but in the event it is snowing, the call to be made would be to Victory. We'd need to make sure that they are open during bad weather. Also...if it does snow, it'd at least be in our best interests to skip the fun run and go right to Victory![]()

A foot? I'm not showing up. My "snows" (Falken Ziex ZE912) are not good for much bad stuff.
This seems OK with me. Unless it is a major storm, my guess is they would be open. Someone please program their phone number into their phone ...
Really bad idea! I could join you as mine have maybe 4/32" left.

Let's be optimistic here, there most likely won't be any snow. If it does though, Mikie's idea is great.

Hellooo '11 REX
I've driven on star specs in the snow with 0-3/32" left (depending where on the tire you measured). it is indeed sketchy, although I had to laugh to myself when the truck in front with me with a very "experienced" driver crashed into the minivan ahead of him, while I was actually able to slow down faster than he did. we had only been driving at about 30mph.
at any rate, I tried it intentionally just to get a good idea of how serious summer tires with no tread handled a light, slick snow. they definitely aren't as good as all-seasons, but surprisingly, I felt like all-seasons are closer to summers than winters when it comes to snow performance.
In the event there is significant snow (who do you really trust to forecast this far out?), I will be out driving while most people are scared to leave their homes, so coming down to the meet would be fun. I love driving through fresh powder while most people are scared to leave their homes because it feels a lot safer to me than a few hours later when the roads are plowed and everyone is out.

Well found out rt tuning is still open during construction. If all turns out I will be at the meet in the wrx. So it's not allowed to snow. Haha

I'm up in the air on this one. If there's talk of snow, I will have to decline.Originally Posted by Sasquatch
