This is a discussion on has anyone installed a cobb sf intake and airbox on a 2011 wrx? within the Tri-State forums, part of the Regional Discussion category; how long did it take? and was it easy? im sure i wont have a problem, just wondering...

    I did my AEM in about 20 minutes in the pitch dark. The hardest part was getting the stock silencer and back of the airbox out of the fender well.

    Cool vid. I would like to find a deal on a used Cobb SF intake and the AEM to test them both and do a review on them. I really like the design on the Cobb SF but it seems like the AEM is not quite as loud especially under normal driving and makes a bit more top end.

    Easy breezy. Just open up and take the stock airbox out in 2 pieces. It's hard to maneuver the whole box out of there in tact.

    thanx guys i appreciate it, yeah it was pretty simple, got it in, everything is good, love the sound now..gotta try to get some pics and video up
