So my 2011 wrx sedan's exhaust system is uneven. The right mufflers droop down about 2 inches or so lower than the left side. It is very annoying because the car is brand spanking new. I tried adjusting the muffler holders(the rubber holders) but it keeps going back to its uneven stubborn way. Please help! did this happen to anyone and how did you fit it?

gotta heat and bend the metal hangars.. I'd take it back to the dealer and ***** as I'd consider that a defect.

Is it the stock exhaust? I was gonna try to assist, but then i realized my perrin cbe has 1 more connection between the mid and y-pipe which allowed me to pivot the back end of the exhaust. Is the mid and y- still one piece on the 2011?

Definitely take it back, no reason to be unhappy with a new car.

I had the same problem with my aftermarket exhaust & aftermarket hangers. The left side droops a little lower than the right.I just blame my OCD & line it up once in a while.

OP,did you by any chance grease the hanger inserts at any point?

also, once i adjusted mine by twisting the mid to y- pipes i used little clamps on the hangers to keep the rubber holders in place
