If you read the thread, you would have seen that the summer meets dont have as many people and you did miss the fun run, and lunch...soo not much there to judge the event.

Aye. The weather was superb and the fun run was the "traditional" length.

The turnout was lower than I was hoping for, but was a great meet nonetheless. The fun run would have been ~45 minutes shorter if we had a big turnout.

Since JR (wrx wagone) let his Photobucket account lapse there are no images in the first Victory Meet thread Victory Brewing Meet on May 6 2006 is ON!! (the first meet)

I have some of his images saved along with some I took. What it looked like 5 years ago. Jesse (devilfluff) had his Bugeye wagon. This is where we first met the Weasel.

The freshly repaved Route 282! Did not look that new today. Today's fun run was similar to 2006, but run in the opposite direction.

Thank you all for coming out and making the 5th Anniversary Victory Meet one to remember. I cannot express how much I enjoy seeing you all out there - even though I suck at remembering names and faces. Looking in my rear views to keep the train of WRXs together during the fun run makes this all worthwhile. I absolutely love leading the drive.

Many of you drive a considerable distance to make it - after 5 years I am amazed you continue to do so. As long as you keep asking for these meets, I will continue to host them if I am able. Looking forward to the 10 year anniversary!

Shortly after I arrived there was a guy who parked behind us and was tweaking something on this recently built Camaro. The 572ci crate engine was advertised to put out 600hp. He told me it was dynoed at 530 something at the *ahem* wider than average rear wheels. Sounded pretty fargin amazing!

Notice how the wheels, rims and tires are becoming almost identical color-wise. A car wash is desperately needed. Compare this image to the WRB wagon in 2006. Yes, they are the same car.

I had a great time and really enjoyed the full length ride. It's too bad we kept getting broken up by slow people though.
