stoked for the fun-run!! Not sure if my car will see any last minute tweeks beforehand though....I have a ton of things on the "list" but won't be around this weekend to get anything done....will still be a blast though!!

I pre-apologize for the hideous look of my hood....my theory is that the resin in the CF wasn't fully cured prior to it getting clear-coated...so all the clearcoat is pretty much gone & it looks rough. I plan to be respraying it to body-match the rest of the car soon enough though.

we are staying in the hampton inn friday and saturday nights. from what i understand its 5 to 10 mins from the park. mazdaspeed pro is going to meet me at the hotel and i am going to fallow him to the park. are you thinking about staying? most rooms were around 100 a night that i found i think i got it for 101 but i cant cancel to get it that cheap. from what i understand its a nice place to stay and most of the reviews i read on this place were good. most of the places that were cheaper had mostly bad reviews. hotels.com had that price and the hampton inn web page had that price also.

I'm thinking I can meet up with you around 10:30 at your hotel, I'll look for your WRX and park adjacent if spot is available....if anyone else is joining in the fun the more the merrier...I might have to craft a mini fun-run to the park for shiggles

sounds great. we will be there. i am taking my laptop with us. the hotel is supposed to have internet access. i will post on here friday night when we get settled in. i dont know if anyone else is staying. zax was asking but idk if he was planning on staying. i cant wait till its here. thanks again

So it looks like there is 8 (including myself, not my extra passenger) that will be potentially joining us from the valley. Unfortunately some people had already planned to be in Englishtown for Evo vs. STi day, but you can't predict them all.

We typically leave Victory by 3 or 4 and head wherever (meet over).

Welcome? Of course. Hey, maybe start a new tradition as we have a few out of towners ...

It kind of goes like this ...

Meet and chat at Marsh Creek until we think everyone has arrived 12:00 - 12:30. It was a minor tradition for a time someone had to install something while we were there.

5 - 10 over Fun Run.

Arrive at Victory 2:00-ish. More meet and chat, pic taking, etc.

Go inside eat, drink and be Subie. People leave as they need / want to. I don't think we have stayed any later than 5:00.
