my brother gets a call from the neighbor kid saying he found some wrx's in the woods, but they are all cut up. me and my brother go there and there are 4 cars total, 3 are possible sti's, 1 might be a 08+ outback sport. they are just cut up bodies of cars. no mechanical parts whatsoever. no tires, no wheels no suspension. just bodies. all cut up. im guessing chop shop dump?

i could not find any vins. there where a couple firewalls but they were cut above the vin, and the windshield part didnt have it. the stickers on the doors where removed
report it, and soon. I'll bet that each and every one of those parts belongs to a stolen car.

wow that's chilling to see. it's kind of like finding a body in the woods or something. maybe I'm just super attached to my car but I'd be devastated to find it in a pile like that somewhere. definitely report it. maybe they can find fingerprints.

I know they're just cars but don't you think the person who potentially stole them and chopped them up should have some sort of fine/punishment

Oh I agree they should be punished, hence my comment about calling the police. I just don't compare chopped up cars to dead bodies and dying a little inside when I see that. They are just cars. Metal and plastic parts glued and bolted together. Disposable and replaceable.
Edit: I am personally responsible for the deaths of thousands of cars over my lifetime
