I have dyno time on the 6th, so once I get home from that, I can find out exactly what shape I'm in, and can give a more definitive answer.

Anyone signing up/already signed up for a tour?

Saturday, October 10th Brewery Tour - Eventbrite

If we're shooting to be there at 2:00PM, do you think we could make the 3:00PM tour or is that cutting it too close?

There are only a few spots left in the 4:00PM tour. Unless most people are interested in doing the tour beforehand at 2:00PM?

I've never toured this brewery so I'd like to check it out at some point!

Just to make sure that you are not misled, we are planning on heading to the brewpub. The actual brewery is a few miles away in Milford. I don't think they do tours on weekends, but I'll double check.

Ahhhh... well, if I would actually read the information in first post instead of "ZOMG!!!!1 BEERZ!!!! IMGOING!!!!!!!!1" I would have realized that

That's about 30 min from the actual brewery? Looks like I'll have to come back for a tour of the brewery then. Thanks for pointing that out!

Good to know! I appreciate that.

If you guys aren't going to tour it, I'm going to back out.

They do have tours of the distillery & experimental brewery at the brewpub.

If everyone is interested, we could try to schedule a tour of the brewery in Milton. They offer Saturday tours at 2, 3, & 4:00. As of now, the only tour that would appear to have sufficient open space is the 3:00 time slot. (brewery tours are limited to 35 people)

The brewery is indeed about 30 minutes from the brewpub. It is not far off the route to the pub, but there would be some downtime before the tour would be scheduled.

Interesting...I've never attended a meet before so I might attend. I have been to Dogfish Head (brewery and pub). If you know nothing about beer brewing the brewery tour is well worth it but I didn't like how they are stingy with the samples. The pub was fair...went with a few friends and everyone agreed the food just wasn't that great, contrary to popular opinion.

As a side note, if you're interested in sampling beer I highly recommend Flying Dog in Frederick, MD. $5 gets you six 6oz samples and a logo pint glass to take home with you. They have a lot of beers to sample and the staff is pretty cool. The negative: the tour of the brewery is poorly done. But who cares if you know how to brew or have me around to explain it to you?

I'd definitely be interested in getting onto a tour in Milton. If not, no big deal.

Okay, the girl isn't coming but maybe I can find a replacement copilot. I just met up with a guy from the 3gwrx board yesterday to help him flash an OS map onto his red 08 sedan, told him about the meet and he's definitely going to come as well.

Tour is not age restricted, but your daughter would obviously be unable to partake in the samples.
