EDIT: googled it... looks to be a race thing... not me, sorry!

It is a road rally not a speed based race. It is based on precise navigation and driving and not how fast you go. So it is a different kind of race.

Also the race has been running for 20 years and this is the last year so it is kind of sad.

its the last year? why won't they be running it any more? i have never run it, but it does look like fun.

Yea man it is the last year because the organizer can't run it alone. So yea it is supposed to be a blast I can't wait to do it maybe we can start something new maybe a subie only event. Let's see what happens.

unfortunately, that is also the weekend of the duryea hill climb near me, so I will probably be going to spectate that. i always had a hard time finding anyone that wanted to navigate for me on TSDs...my friend actually tried to quit in the middle of one once because he was so frustrated. I told him I wasn't driving anywhere while he was in the passenger seat unless he told me where to go, so he eventually started navigating again
