You'll be nowhere near 300whp with that - you need a turbo upgrade and all supporting mods, and even that may not get you there.

Passing inspection will vary depending on the type of testing NJ does - if all it requires is OBDII, then catless will pass as long as the codes associated with a catless exhaust are disabled.

Read the laws about your states emission testing.

#s vary based on the parts, tune, dyno, weather, etc.

Unless jersey has changed their emissions laws in the last fewyears, you wont pass. When I lived there, they did a sniffer test as well as a visual inspection of your exaust system.. so a catless exaust will not pass inspection.

Passing NJ Inspection requires a OBD2 readiness test & a visual inspection via "mirror on pole".

Many people have passed it catless. The cat being primarily vertical hides the fact that it is missing without lifting the vehicle.

NJ stopped the "sniffer" test for OBD2 equipped vehicles about 5 years ago. Besides, you can't run a WRX for a sniffer without a 4 wheel dyno

Right when i moved... figures as much. didnt really think about the lack of an AWD dyno at the state inspection places.. I remember there being dynos... dont remember if they were AWD or not.

None I've ever seen. They used to give AWD vehicles an exception to the test.
