Thanks everyone. Unfortunately our 13 yr old bulldog was diagnosed with terminal heart condition (DCM) last weekend. We've been trying to do what we can for him and make sure he's comfortable and doesn't suffer.

I know it may sound strange to some, but my wive and I don't have any children and he's pretty much our son. So it's been a rough week.

On a positive note, he's responding very well to meds, so at least he is not suffering.

I totally understand about pets being family - glad the meds are helping.

Thanks a bunch to those who came out and made it a fun day.

We had to move to the upper parking lot due to the number of park visitors. I hope no one showed and did not see us there thinking we had left. In fact we stayed until 12:30 to wait for any late comers.
