I guess I should have been more specific. One that you use for a haunted house or if you're a DJ. Or if you simply want your place to look like a dungeon (a smoky one). It's for troubleshooting purposes (ie an exhaust leak). Yep...

My neighbor has one - he was in a weird 80's techno - performance art band years ago. He breaks it out every Halloween. Not sure how he is about loaning it out though.

I didn't even know you posted till I decided to check 2 seconds ago.

Good news though. A friend of mine, who also uses one for Halloween parties, has one and let me borrow it. The thing is like a smoke flame thrower. I have a feeling when I turn it on and go to find my leak, I won't be able to see a damn thing, let alone the leak. The smoke machine may require some modding .

I'll post back up w/my results.
