    +1

If I can get the time off, I'd be willing to caravan down. I wouldn't know until about a week or so in advance.

So...I figured I'd just type in a starting location and Winchester for a final location and I think I came up with a good route.

I'm still thinking that meeting up at a parking lot near the Sports Complex in Philly would be the easiest...simple to get to, easy on/easy off to I95, big area that anyone can find. Plenty of parking, and we'd be there early enough in the morning that it wouldn't matter if the Phillies had a game that day.

The route is very direct, as I've taken this before. Traffic shouldn't be a problem considering the drive will be before noon on a Saturday most likely and construction won't be happening because who's ever seen a Union worker work on a weekend?

I'm thinking we should meet by 7:30am and get on the road by 8am. This would give us enough time to get down there by noon. This can allow for a stop or two as well because I know a couple people would want to meet up with the caravan along the way.

Also, give me some ideas on how fast people drive. I frequent 80mph on interstates, but obviously I wouldn't lead a pack of cars doing that fast. I'm thinking somewhere between 70-75mph is a good cruising speed for us long the way...

Let me know what you all think!

Sounds like a good route/plan to me. And cruising at 70-75 mph sounds like a good speed.

I'd like to meet up with the group - but I work from 3pm-12am Mon-Fri, so I'm used to going to sleep around 3-5am.

I might end up taking Friday off so I can make it, but then that makes me think I should just head down on Friday. Anyone from NJ heading down on Friday?

I think good ole Blup is coming down on Friday and crashing at my place so that we leave Sat. morning.
