A Touchy Feely Meaty Thank you!

Gang, today was really really cool. I wanted to have a Bucks County meat-then-drive-then-eat&drink for a long time and you guys came through like no others! You guys are the reason why the Subaru family is what it is today. I need to thank a few people for this meat:

Jackie (my fiancee/co-driver-in-life): We wouldn't have been able to make it through the drive without your directions and organization. I'd have been all messed up when the popo crapped on us without you. Your coming out and driving the route with me late on Wed. after taking the bar exam speaks volumes about how good you are to me. 143

Andrew & Jess: Thanks for driving from Dayton NJ to go to a Subie meet in a base trim Cobalt. You guys rock. Seriously. Rock like Sepultura's "Beneath the Remains."

JR: Thanks for manning the radio, bringing up the rear, and looking so damn cute in those Pilotis!

Tristan: Thanks for giving us this forum to do start things like this and thank you for keeping my car running at a good price. You're the shiz.

Bill: Thanks for sleeping in today and not coming out. You have now made it my life's work to get your car as dirty as I possible can, forever. And ever. I will introduce botulism into your engine bay. xoxoxo.

Tinicum Township Poilce: Thanks for not being really crappy towards my friends and ticketing them. That would have ruined my day.

I'm glad that from what I can tell, you guys didn't think my ride sucked. I hope you all had fun. Here are my pix (I'm hoping you all took a lot of pix, I didn't AT ALL):

The most notorious wing in Bucks County!

    The end

P.S. Wanna do it again sometime?

Thank you Jon! That was definitely one of the more enjoyable Subaru Meats I've been to.

We need to get more pics in here!

I know, I suck. This was beyond a average "sleep in" as there were other factors involved (no, not alcohol). If you want details and a doctor's note let me know.

I've got something that will be going down the beginning of May.

Its going to be called Sunday Muddy Sunday..

Details to evolve at the KingofParts thinktank and will be posted on teh Club when we're decided.

It may or may not involve the Lehigh Valley to bring in the NEPA guys. Stay tuned, folks.

I just looked over the "after" pics on jpjester's thread. That is so not me!! I might have cried after getting out of the WRX and seeing the result. Maybe not cry, but a mental panic would have set in. Clay bar is good. Red clay spray bad.

I am a slob about many things. Why the nearly OCD clean WRX?

But I bet you enjoy cleaning your WRX, right? I'll give you a reason to clean.

Don't sweat it. The next meat will be a Sunday. There's a good chance you will be running a solo event so you can use that as an excuse.

That stuff hoses right off no problem - even after a couple days. When your car is that dirty it really looks clean when you wash it. I usually wear sunglasses when washing the car so I don't really notice the paint chips.

I'm ready for another dirty meat!
