I actually hate Windows and wont let it in my house, but data logging with a laptop in the car doesn't count.

I'm not familiar with Mac. Some of my friends love it. I really want to start data logging, tuning & make a go at doing it professionally in a shop environment. It might be a far fetched dream, but the skies the limit.

if i go catless and switch to ohio registration, i would let you help me get it tuned, you need a dyno though right? i mean doing a road tune quickly would be hard no?

Good stuff. You don't need a dyno. It just helps. The most important factors in road tuning are having a wideband o2 sensor, EGT sensor & boost gauge. It's easiest to have all that info to tune with. Make some runs, log it, make changes, flash it & go.

I've heard great things about his work. I was talking to someone today about it. He said it cost him $60, and the guy helps you out with any issue you have after that for a few months.

I talked to apex32 about there (Buffalo), as well.

I might have to check them out for a dyno run sometime soon. Seems like a good shop. I definately want to set up something like that here in Rochester.

I checked out both sites. I plan on talking to Dom about some tuning questions as well.

Sounds good. A lot of people on the UNYSOC forums have talked about that guy. I guess there's a guy around the Albany area who is kinda like his regional rep or whatnot. The person I talked to about it said he helped him out, and when he had an issue with the rear O2 sensor, he said the guy did a bunch of datalogging for him, reviewed it himself, and then sent it off to Dom for a 2nd opinion as well. To me, that's customer service!

+1. If I had my own shop, it would be a high priority to have returning customers. It's what makes businesses successful.

He just stopped by real quick & picked it up. He was maybe here 30 mins. No big deal. I'll have to try to get to some meets this year.
