    Guys, my pinstripes are gone...

ref last Victory meet. I agree, the Matt Slap pinstripes and bodt molding did mess up the natural lines of the car. Two hrs, one hairdryer, and goo-gone, I now have one clean, sporting Garnet Red Pearl WRX TR. It really did cut up the lines. I can't wait to put my OZ Ultraleggra rims back on w/ summer tires after winter passes.

I'm just not a fan of pinstripes.

    I removed mine w/ a power washer.

Assuming they are the stick-on one's the dealerships use:

I used a hair dryer to heat up the pinstripe, as I pulled it off the car. Just used my fingernail at one end and started to peel.

Came right off in a few minutes.

Then I used Goo Gone (or any adhesive remover) to get rid of the glue residue. Then follow up with a wet towel and re-wax the area.

if you have a heat gun, they work MUCH better than a hairdryer. plus most come with a nifty scraper attachment. Just be careful on the paint!

Thank god my WRX didn't come with them. I remember paying a detail shop to take them off my Jetta b/c they were cracked from the sun and had to be scrapped / magic wheeled off and buffed. It looked so much better without them.
