Sorry to hear it man. I go to school in that god-awful city. I hate that place and it definately is terrible about your car. Ill keep an eye out, no reward needed here man, anything to help out a fellow WRX'er.

Wow man, im sorry to hear. The thought of that happening scares the poop out of me. I always park my car where I can see it in like food places or anywhere I can. Im just that paranoid. That car is beatiful too. Im over on the border of PA and NJ so ill keep an eye out. Im always looking for other wrx's when im driving.

Thanks, but they found it. It was stripped and wrecked in newark NJ... insurance wants to try to fix it.

After seeing it, I can say that one of the best antitheft things would be a hood lock. If they can't get the hood open, they can't turn the alarm off. And if you have a remote kill switch under the hood, that's even better.

My father used to do that to our oldsmobile back in the days, he actually had a very smart design for a pedal lock that he made out of some steel plates, and a heavy duty padlock. Not only that there was enough space underneath the hood to snake a chain and lock it on the bottom with another padlock. He did this after 2 break-ins and the next time they tried to steal the car the broke the steering column to the point that you can start the car with a screwdriver but didn't touch the padlock and couldn't drive it away. Sorry to hear about your car, dude. Hope you get it back to its original state.
