48 Hours of Tri-State charity drive

this is mostly a NASIOC event, but hey, theres people over here that may be interested.

most of the info is near the end of hte thread, hopefully the first page will be updated soon, or a new thread started.

basically its a 2 day trip, a friday night to sunday night, of just driving around, sounds boring. its not.

last 2 years snow was involved, accidents were witnessed, minor incidents occured, but its all fun, and we donate money to a charity. a CB radio is basically required, and now that this trip was shortened to 2 days, most likely a co-driver, or lots of NOS/Red Bull. :lol:

in the link, there are other links to photo galleries, and pages that explain the trip/events. if oyu like driving in snow, or just with others on backroads, and common asshattery, this is definatly a fun event.

this year i'd like to see 15 cars attend, but so far we are a bit short, which is normal, a few more will sign up as hte final details are re-stated and official price estimates are up.

Wow, this run sounds like a killer time. It sucks that I won't be able to make this years run. The gas alone would break the bank for me this year. Maybe next year

yeah, $150 on gas alone is kinda pricey for 2 days.. not to mention another 100 for hotel rooms, then another 60-100 for food.

either way, im going, its a blast.

you should consider riding with someone if you want to go, perhas offer a tank of gas or a meal or something, im sure no one will mind carrying one more person.

Andy, i hope you consider going, this whole thing was your idea, and since its the 5th one, back to the original style, why not include some of the original people?... i'll buy ya a pint of guiness every time we eat a meal, and some chicken nuggets at every fast food place we stop.
