So I'm new to WRX's (crashed my m3 in a snow storm, said goodbye to RWD in the winter), but I feel as if I've done my homework researching on the boards.
I need some advice.
Bought the car with 65k on it. Put 10 k on it. So 75k on the car.
Throw out bearing and clutch were replaced at 50k.
Since I got the car it developed a constant chirp coming out of the tranny. With the slightest pressure of my foot on the clutch it goes away. The clutch feels great no shuddering or anything.
So I'm thinking one of a couple things:
1. Throw out bearing dried up
or
2. Clutch pivot dry
or
3. Gremlins/Underpants Gnomes
I'm having the tranny dropped out of the car for piece of mind. While it's out I'm going to have a tsk put in.
Should I have a new clutch put in?
Play it by ear and see what the condition of everything is?
