    4th gear grind

I noticed the other day that when I upshift to 4th it grinds a little bit like I dont have the clutch in all the way but I do. I can downshift from 5th and it goes smoothly, this only happens when upshifting, what could it be? I drive a 2008 WRX Sedan

Nastiness! I hope it is just something in the linkage and not the trans. Successful downshifts are encouraging.

I don't know what the fluids are, I've only had the car for a couple of months and honestley don't know too much about the ins and outs of it. The downshift is only succesful when the RPM's are under 2500. I aw that someone else was having the same problem on here too.
