5 speedvs 6 speed swap. in a 94 wrx wagon

So I have parked my wagon do to needing a new clutch and burning oil. I have been debating wther to do a six peed swap since I first topped the car out. What I need from you guys is opinions and first hand experience. the car is going to be used as a dd and track car as well as pull an ultralight camping trailer.

Why would you swap for a transmission that isn't broken? You do understand that in most markets, the 5MT has a higher theoretical top speed than the 6MT, correct?
2015 CWP WRX STi ... But how did I get roped back into an EJ motor?!

No actually I didn't know. That is. Part of the. Reason I started this thread. I actually like my 5sod but thought. If I could get more speed and
Fuel economy after building the engine to 450-500 HP. Iff I keep the 5sod I plan on building it. I haven't been able to quell the internal battles by reading. Other threads on this subject.:-)

This may be a good resource as reference:

    http://www.northursalia.com/techdocs...rannychart.pdf

In the U.S.A. for example, the 2002-20005 WRX 5MT has a theoretical top speed of 187 MPH while the 2004-2006 STi 6MT has a top speed of 184 MPH.
