    Clutch Questions/Opinions/Suggestions

Looking to do my clutch soon.... I have an 04 WRX with a 111k on her. I imagine its gonna be needing to replaced soon and I just wanna get it over with for most likely the remainder of its life.

I've done some minor research and have seen people say you dont wanna get a clutch thats "too much for you transmission". Not quite sure what that means if some could explain that to me, Im kind of a noob when it comes to clutchs and the drivetrain.

It is tuned with a COBB OTS Stage 2 with a few other things so I was thinking on getting a Stage 1 clutch for it and was wondering if something like that would be suitable for my HP ratings and not screw my trans up as well?

Anyone have opinons/suggestions on brands for clutch's?

If your clutch slips get an Exedy OEM plane Jane clutch.

If your clutch doesn't slip save your money and time.

What he said. My wife has a "stage 1" Exedy in her car. It's a little more clutch than needed for her Stage 2+ LGT. If you do any sort of driving in traffic, the stiffer clutch sucks.
