I purchased my car used with 2000 miles on it back in January. Its a 2011 WRX premium 4 door. I do have factory SPT exhaust and also the trunk trim. Inside I have the momo shift knob. Does this mean that I have the optional STS option? I asked the original owner and he was unsure. I drove an 09 and a 10 WRX and the shifts felt like they were out of a big rig whereas mine feels a lot better (still not as short as it could be though). Any insight would be helpful, Ill take pics if that helps. Thanks in advance guys!

I had a 2010 WRX Premium with the SPT exhaust also. Not thinking ahead, I bought a Cobb short throw shifter and installed it. I took it out two weeks later. It seemed to be a lot of rough shifting and someone suggested I already had a factory short throw one installed so the Cobb shifter wasn't completely compatible with the rest of the linkage. Never really found out %100 if this was the case but the stock shifter was much smoother and the throw wasnt long on it anyway. Hopes that kind of helped lol.
I can't tell if the lever is gold at the pivot. Was that picture taken with flash on?Originally Posted by matsayz
