I decided just to go with the front bushings for now. I was doing some research on here and some people said they dont seem to notice any difference with the rear bushing on it....do you have both the front and rear??

^^ 40% shorter is what KB claims.... It's ABOUT that.

There is a big difference w/JUST the front than with both. I did the front one w/the shifter and the next week I added the rear.... made a BIG difference. Should have done your homework... I know this has been discused b4. Do yourself a favor and order the rear as well.

I did read a few posts and some say they felt a difference with the rear bushing and some say they don't. At least this way I will be able to tell for myself...I will try it with the front and then order the rear later. I am sure either way its going to feel a lot different then stock! I know when I put the ss in my focus it was pretty freaking amazing how much it changed the feel of shifting!!

I got the shifter put In...I also put in the bushings that go on the u joint and the holes in them are bigger then the original and the metal cylinder that goes thru them doesn't fit snug but once it was tightened it didn't seem to matter much...

Holy Crap! Bringing my own thread back from the dead...

So the other day I noticed that my shifter seems to have a lot of play in it...I just figured out why....damn I was such a noob back in the day.

I was looking over parts I have ordered and I realized that I used the shift linkage bushings on the pivot point where the Kartboy Short shifter attaches to my car....I remember wondering why the hell I had two sets of bushings....damn it!! So I never did install the shift linkage bushings on the "trunnion" or U joint...I put them on my shifter pivot point...hahahahah....

I know!! The only reason I took notice of the sloppy shifter was because I got the new knob and I can't keep my hands off my knob...
