Nice brake setup!! Post some pics of the H6's when you get them on. What rear rotors are you using with the H6 conversion?

My original plan was DBA 4000 series in the rear, but evidently there is a pricing glitch w/ DBA on these particular Legacy rear rotors- they want more for the new Brembo STi fronts than the these solid 290X10mm ones. It's a snafu they haven't got fixed yet, so I went w/ the Carbotech ones- look nice the "hat" is black and they are slotted.

Just ordered the guide/clips today, so I should be able to get them on this weekend.

Well my wife had me come out the other day (it's her daily driver ) and said something was making noise- went to the drivers rear and hear hissing from the tire. Got a hole, but whatever punctured it was gone.

Took it to the tire shop to have repaired (z rated tires have a very exacting method to repair- I've posted it previously somewhere). I had a small puncture in one of the tires earlier and this shop knew what to do. I mentioned to the fellow that one of the tires had been previously repaired, hopefully not this one (you get one shot/puncture repair w/ z rated tires). As luck would have it this was the same tire (previous puncture repair was still fine)- so I had them sh#t can them- they were done anyways, right to the wear bars. I asked the guy what were the odds of that- he said 1 in 4- wise ass tire guys anyways.

I was hoping for another month before winter tires, but alas I'm on my Nokian's now- not the same .

Our season is wrapped up here anyways. I've got the entire winter to look at possible replacements (the don't make the summmer Nero in 225/50/16 anymore). I'm also looking at the possibility of some 8" TE's (sticking w/ the 225/50/16 size).

I did order some new bits and will post when they get here

I'll hold off on getting my "H6" rotors on till spring (unless I get bored)- I got the rigth 02 anti-rattle clips for the rear pads.

You've got that right! I have to admit that I'm very jealous of folks that are hitting track events/autox almost year round- Southern California comes to mind

Will be on new rubber next spring-always look forward to trying new ones. Springs should be a nice improvement as well. Maybe some 8" wheels as well . Only five months to go!

Go drift around in some snow and stop complaining!
There's a whole other side to the WRX that we SouthernCalifornians don't get to use.
