2009 wrx tire size question. any good reason NOT to go from 225/45-17 to a 235/45-17?

It will soon be time for new shoes on the baby...question is if there is any good reason not to go to a 235/45 on the stock wheel? Tire rack recommended not doing so but couldnt give me a real reason not to...so their opinion is suspect at this point unless I can find someone who has tried upsizing and discovering it wasnt a good choice. Help me out guys...

Those would be different sizes height-wise and mess up your speedometer.

that's 225mm wide and 45% of 225 thick. 45% of 235 would be taller sidewall. I'm looking for a good calculator for overall height now....
