I have a 2004 wrx sedan on eibach lowering springs. Wondering what I would have to do to be able to fit 18x8.75 +20 XXR 530's. Tried researching but found conflicting answers.
I'd sell the wheels and get a set that have a proper offset. That offset is way off. Personally I wouldn't go any lower than +40 offset. Also, I think 17's look much better on bug eyes than 18's but again that is just personal opinion.
If you insist on fitting these specific wheels on the car then you will need to have a significant amount of fender rolling done and most likely a fair amount of camber.
If you get the correct bold pattern then they will "fit" yes. You would still most likely need fender rolling. Will they be the best functioning wheel for your particular car? Not if performance is your goal. I would recommend considering a 17x8 +40 or +45. That would give you a meatier appearance and still retain good performance.
I found wheels that are 17x8 or 17x9 with a +42 offset. Im assuming they would fit better than what I first had in mind? Also, if there is a thread that would give me all this information I'd appreciate the link so I dont have to keep bothering you guys. Thanks
Strictly speaking performance the 8" wheel would be better due to being lighter (less wheel material and tire matter) and tires will be cheaper. Both would fit. The 9" wheel may require some fender rolling to avoid rubbing issues since you are lowered.
