    BBS SR Rims

    I'm trying to find out about anthracite painted rims.
    BBS SRs are the rims I'm looking for opinions on.
    How good are painted wheels quality wise?
    I have only had alloy wheels, and I'm curious what brands and styles people use?
    How do you like them?
    How well do painted wheels stand up?
    Most Enkei rims and BBS are painted, as are most others.
    How is the cleaning and upkeep of wheels?
    Any advice or opinions are welcome.

    I would think those would be easy with Sonax wheel cleaner, my Enekis take no time. Love those BBS SRs btw!

    I'm wondering if these painted wheels will stand up to New England weather. They would only be on the car about 7 months out of the year. I have alloy wheels with Yokohama winter tires for the rest of the year.
    So my questions are will installing and removing then storing cause damage to the paint on rims. From things like mounting and removing wheels. Cleaning and washing are they as good as there price tag (BBS SRs painted)
    Is anyone running anthracite painted wheels? Any suggestions welcome.

    They say painted. Check them out on tirerack.com
    I love the look but don't want chips and gouges in the paint.
    Plus I switch wheels twice a year.

    well these BBS are powder coated...

    Changed the color for my buddy by powder coating them.

    BBS paint is tough. Mine are fairly old and they do not look perfect up close anymore however. No wheel will after some time IMO.

    You could plastidip them when you get them.
