Massive improvement. I don't have experience with the nittos so I can't speak to those.

whatever u do get 255 wide you get a little more ground contact without going oveboard. plau it gives a very nice aggresive look with a little wider tires i have the yokohama yk580. not really a summer tire per-say, but a beast of a all season tire that grips well too

Can I run a 255 tire on stock wheels? Or do I need to upgrade?
Motoxdude6 what wheels do you have? My winter wheels have Yokohama snow tires. My summer factory wheels have stock Dunlop tires.

A 255 would be a little wide on the stock wheels. With your stock wheels being 8 inches wide I wouldn't go wider than a 245. Honestly though, you should prob stick w stock size of 235, you'd see a significant improvement just from the better tire and wouldn't be adding unnecessary weight.

Is anyone using Nitto NT555 tires? How do you like them? How do they compare to Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Looking for input and opinions. What is the most popular tire for a WRX?
    Everybody give there 2cents!
Also what is the best rim size, or most popular?
What is everyone's daily driver wheel/ tire combo?

I went through the whole thread. Found some good informative info, and learned a few things in the process. The one thing I could not find was any user input about Nitto NT555. Seems like a nice tire. Is anyone using them?
