This is a discussion on Xxr 530 within the Suspension & Wheels forums, part of the Tech & Modifying & General Repairs category; I've read the offset threads. Looking at the 530s in 17in what width and offset would be closest to stock? ...

I've read the offset threads. Looking at the 530s in 17in what width and offset would be closest to stock? I don't want then sticking past the fenders..and I want to be able to use stock tires

What year car do you have? If you want to be stock-ish offset, then try and get around +50 offset. The tires don't really have much to do with the offset, but rather the width. So stick with a 7.5 to 8 inch wide wheel. This is advice for an 08+, and would change for a different generation car.

Take a look through this thread to get some ideas. Most people don't stick to stock offset. The OFFICIAL 2011/12 WRX wheel/tire thread

Find your year, see the offset and sizes. Compare.
