    17x8 will it rub?

Looking to pick up some 17x8 35offset. They really fit my buget right now but not sure if I will be at thr limits of what my suspension can handle.. everything is stock down there, I have an 03 wrx sedan. They also come with 205 40 17. Will I be ok? I will work with it down the road but can they go on for now? Any input is appreciated. Thanks

+35mm offset is not correct. With 17x8 you will want to target around +42-48mm offset.

Also, 205/40/17 are not correct for those wheels. You will want 235/40/17 for a 17x8 tire.

They will fit without rubbing provided the bolt pattern is correct. Offset is not ideal for our cars, as Zax already said. And make sure the tires are all evenly worn. subaru requires them all to be within a couple 1/32ths. I forget the exact tolerence specs.

205 seems like a small tire for 8'' wide wheel. You'll want to go larger with your next set of tires.
