I myself have never had the eibach pro kit but im definelty looking into them aswell. I have an 07 wrx but im looking for the same look, not to slammed, not to much wheel well gap. from what ive heard the eibachs will do the job pretty well, although some say and prefer getting struts before springs because they can ware out you stock struts but will work with them for a while.

@dgatman are struts exp? If I find things at a good price , I may get things now n wait to have them out on . The pot holes around my way are a night mare because this winter is so bad . There is another snow storm in the mix for Monday 👎

It all depends on what brand you want and how much your willing to pay. They tend to be around the 400-700 range . Since the roads are pretty bad where you are i would not recommend going for struts before springs, since springs will only wear your oem struts thus causing for an unpleasant ride experience especially in snow, if your going to buy one before the other go with struts

The best bang for you buck struts if you use your car for DD (daily driving) would either be KYB's preferably the gr-2 series if you can find them or the Tokico blues, these work great with stock springs and since you looking into eibach springs would go great with those cause of their low spring rate, but do some research to find which ones suit you and your wants best.

i installed them with my stock struts @ 10,000 miles and kept them for about 5 years w/ no issues at all. the only reason i got rid of them was to install coilovers

How was the ride confort with the eibach springs on stock struts compared to the stock setup?

it rode just like stock. that was the thing i loved about them. you couldnt even tell they were aftermarket. (which is a downside to some people bc they want a little more aggressive handling too)
