    Anyone running white wheels on a dark metallic wrx?

    Im going to get used wheels to mount winter tires on, and wanted to paint them something other then the bland aluminum color they come in. I was thinking white might look good. Ive looked all over and cant find any decent pics. help?

    you should pick up a can of plastidip. try it out & if you dont like it you can just peel it off :]

    Is that stuff durable enough for wheels? I have no experience with it. but thanks! The white is definitly growing on me.

    I've never used it personally on my wheels but my brother did his about 6+ months ago and they are still perfectly in tact

    make sure you coat it on real good if you go the plastidip route, if not its a PAIN to get off

    I'm on my second season with dipped wheels for the winter. The stuff holds up real well against the elements in MA. The only reason why I peeled and resprayed them this year was because I rushed the first time I did it. I definitely recommend it though. For $8 a can at Home Depot it's not a bad way to transform the look of a wheel.

    I'm not a fan of white wheels. To me, they look like plastic and impractical from a grime point of view.
