    My ABS doesn't engage

I've been searching for days on this, and havent found another similar post.

my 2003 WRX wagon doesn't have the ABS engage when the wheels lock up. I got used to the brakes in my prelude (upgraded to ceramic pads, perfect ABS, nice new fluid, etc) and want the wrx to stop nice like it did.

what happens when i hit the brakes, it just locks the front wheels (the rear needs new rotors and pads which i am doing tomorrow)

there is no ABS light, the ABS fuse was blown (20A fuse on interior fuse box), i replaced it and no change. I'm just looking for any sort of direction so i can learn how the systems work in these cars, how to fix them, and generally make my ride nice.

also, if anybody has links to a free PDF service manual, that would be helpful

well, i'm dumb. went through the whole system, and figured out that the ABS motor was unplugged. there is a big connector, and it was just in the spot, but not pressed down onto the pins.

after i plugged it in, i got an abs light, but only needed to drive accross the road. i parked it there for a few hours while i was with a friend, then when i came back to the car, the abs magically worked. so case closed
