    WRX Rims w/ different tires?

I am looking to buy a set of used, OEM, mint 2011 WRX rims. The guy is running the same SIZE tire on all them but has 2 different types of tires. So there is 2 rims that have Dunlop's and 2 that have Hankooks. Could I get away with running these without any issues on my 2008 WRX? Thanks!

I wouldn't trust it...different tread patterns, different tread compounds of the different brands could actually cause some long term damage on differentials. Being that he has two stockers, and then two Hankooks, I'm willing to bet that they have different tread depth as well.

    Keep looking.

Ooh,hang on. That is the throb of a turbocharged flat four engine. A sound which, all over the world, heralds the imminent arrival of a moron - JC.

Thanks for the input, I forgot to mention that the tires were on a forester and are wore evenly. However, I do know that some tires wear faster then others obviously. I offered him $600 for the rims and tires, rims are perfect. Is that a good price? What do you guys think. Buy the rims and buy a set of 4 new tires?

You could do that...$600 for the stock wheels isn't terrible I guess. I've seen stock wheels and original tires go for that.
