    TPMS sensors

So i have a set of aftermarket wheels from my old car, an 08 impreza 2.5i. These wheels still have the tpms sensors in them, and i was wondering if my 05 wrx would recognize these sensors or if they are mated to a specific vehicle. If anyone has any insight on this it would be appreciated, the oem wheels look like someone use to drive on the braille system, and i would love to put on my nice shiny wheels without having to break them down first. Lets face it, no one likes tire irons, so give me some good news!

    Thanks for your time guys

Your 2005 doesn't have a tire pressure monitoring system, so no worries. Just swap the wheels and enjoy.

The Impreza line didn't get TPMS until the 2008 model year: Subaru Tire Pressure Monitoring System operation

    Looks good!

What size are those? Looks like there is a lot of sidewall.

16's, so there is indeed a lot of sidewall. I'm contemplating selling the stock wheels and these wheels and going huge.
