    Sparco Terra Gold painted 17"s

Thinking of getting these for summer and put snows on stock wheels. Anybody got these to post some pics? They weigh about 18.2 lbs, I know its way better than stock rims, but does it feel any different?

I have O.Z Formula HLTs and they are much lighter than stock, yet the only difference I could make out was the change in speedometer readings (they're 17s and stock was 16). I bought them mainly for looks and strength.

O.Z. runs 350 a piece for 17"s. and they are just 2 lbs lighter than sparco assetto garas. They are fantastic wheels though!

Like I said, I bought them for strength and looks, not weight. I don't think weight will make much of a difference in your car's performance. Good tires will be a better investment.

I thought weight mattered in cornering. Good tires are def an investment. Any pics with gold Sparco Terras anyone? or is this yet to be released?

Weight of the wheels will absolutely make a difference in the car's performance.

I was looking at the 16s a year ago but they kept pushing back the release date so I gave up and bought some legacy snowflakes from Ruh Roh... I'd love to see some pics of these on peoples cars!

+1, wheels and tires are unsprung weight, I've read that a racecar engineer would rather add 5+ lbs of sprung weight to a car than 1 lb of unsprung weight. Maybe SD_GR or Mycologist or one of our other resident geniuses will drop in and school us. Physics makes my brain hurt.

Simply put, less mass requires less power to get moving faster.
