    17x9.75 +25 wheels on a 03 WRX?

I am pretty unfamiliar about tires, but there is someone who is selling a set of these

XXR Wheels: 527 17x9.75 Matte Bronze Rims

for $1k with brand new tires, zero miles on them.

I currently am running the stock wheels. 9.75 seems really wide... would that be something I'd have to worry about the tire sticking out at all?

As far as the offset goes I am completely in the dark as to what is good and what is not.

    Any thoughts?

if youre going for the mad tyte jdm hellaflush look, these are great. you will need to roll your fenders and the wheels will stick out.

you should look at 17x8 or 17x8.5 at the most with an offset in the 40's.

    ^What she said

With that offset and width they won't fit very well or be much of a performance upgrade. You'll need some camber and fender work to make those fit.

That offset will look terrible. You will have a LOT of poke.

Dez is spot on with her analysis. You should listen to her

Awesome, thanks guys. Exactly what I was looking for.

I realized last night that 9.75 was adding over 3 inches of width to what I currently have... definitely a bit excessive. I'll keep looking!
