    16" rims on my 2013

I've been investigating rims and tires for winter. Haven't quite found all the answers so I'm posting here.

I would like to get some black steelies, 16 inch for the wrx. I know that the bolt pattern is 5x100. not sure how much offset will play into this. Also, can i assume that 16" fits over the brakes? Seems that they will based on what I have read. TireRack is running a rebate on some tires so I'd like to just get a package deal while i can. 205/55 16 seems to be what people are using also. I'm going for budget here, but we're expecting more snow than last year so I figure it's time to get a set going. help and suggestions appreciated.

    16" will clear the brakes.

    What tires are you getting?

Plenty of people find older bugeye 16s and throw winters on them.

16s look a little weird on the newer cars, IMO, but they're only seasonal beater wheels, so who cares?

yeah there's a guy that has some bugeye stock rims and i considered that, but he's about 2.5 hours away, and it won't save that much over the new black steels. i prefer black over the aluminum look anyway. i work 45 minutes from tirerack in South Bend, so I can just do the whole thing there and pay no shipping or mount/balance. those arctics look good, rage.
