    Well, i got bored at home yesterday and pulled my wheel off to give my brakes a good deep cleaning.

    Time for some new ones eh? any suggestions i/e sizes, type, and such.

    Yikes. Down to the cords. Good thing you caught that early!

    What are your alignment specs? You have quite a lot of significant inner wear, which would indicate to me either 1.) Very aggressive (autocross-level) camber or 2.) some serious toe-in.

    Another day and i woulda blown out i'm thinkin'.
    Oh well. HURRAY FOR BOREDOM AND THE NEED TO CLEAN.
    Honestly, no clue. I'm takin the beast in tomorrow to get re-aligned and my specs all back to normal.

    With those on there it's pointless to align again. Get new stuff, fit it, and then realign.

    Just put new tires on it today. Re-alignment tomorrow around noonish.
    i'm thinking i need new springs eh?

    I doubt it. The dampers may need replacement but the springs usually hold on longer. Is the car sagging or bouncing?

    From the wear pattern, it really looks as though your toe is far out of spec.

    OK see if you have a faulty strut cartridge (damper). Figure that out before you align since you'll need to align if you replace those anyway.
