Needs some advice on tire selection

Hey fellas, still having a blast with the subaru i bought with the help of this forum! I'll be going on a 10 day vacation and be going through quite a few states on a road trip, back packing with the wife. I'll be leaving the 15th, and decided to go ahead and get new tires for the car *just in case*. I would prefer summer tires, and I have the stock wheels for the car. ( 2002 subaru wrx). Any suggestions on which to buy? I have a samsclub by me, And quite a few tire shops. Zip is 35206 if you'd happen to need it. Thanks for your help guys, and hopefully this is in the correct sub forum.

    Mike

EDIT: Price Range arround 500-600 usd. Sorry I didn't include that first.

I really wouldn't recommend All-Seasons. Quite a few members have been running the Cooper RS-3s and are quite pleased with the feel/grip. They will likely be my next tire. RS-3S tires run about $500 for all four 225/45/17 (shipped). You could run 225s on your stock wheels if you pleased.

Okay, and yeah I wasn't really wanting to get all seasons. I'll know today which ones I'm going to get.

Kumho and Sumitomo have some summers that are usually priced nicely.

Reached 20k miles this afternoon, also got the tires put on and aligned. Pretty day out, so also plastic dipped the consol arround my stereo black, looks a lot cleaner. Will take some photos in a minute.

So I've had the tires a little while, and put arround 1.5k miles on them. So far they're great! Really love the response I get from them, everything is very tight. They're more quiet then the yokohamas, as well as feeling better at high speeds on the highway. At arround 5k miles ill put up another review, but for now I'm very happy with my purchase. Out the door for all four on the car, and rotated, balanced, and a full alignment, I payed $556.xx really happy with that price.
