I'll take a better pic straight down the side of the car but, IMO, the center of my wheels are exactly even with outside line of the fender. Actually, because of the shape of my wheel spokes, they appear to barely stand out past the fender. The tops of the tires sit inside the fender, the center of the wheels are pretty even with the fender, the bottoms sit just outside of the fender ....all results of camber obviously.

What year car are you? Sorry...on my phone or I'd go dig a little.
2010 hatch. Cool man thats exactly what i was looking for. Looks good.

...and with the coils plenty if room between them and the wheel. The stock struts are closer but still clear nicely.

a +48 offset on an 8" wide wheel is NOT a good look on an 11+ you will need a +40 or +42

    02-07 +48 is a decent look

    08-10 +45 is a decent look.

Agreed, with the wide body on 11'+ you need a little less offset. With 8" I'd say even a +45 is pretty conservative.

I think the +40 will still work good with the 8.75 wheel i plan on getting. It should only be an 1/8th inch wider each way.

I still don't get the retarded "*.75" inch that XXR offers...

That's the problem...it's cause many Stancetards and herrafrushers go right for XXRs to where they can stretch tires and not use proper offset.

Depends on what you call "affordable."

I like Enkei and OZ as far as mid-range wheels are concerned. They're around $1k for a set, but are adequately light and strong. Forging is clearly best process, but modern casting techniques have come to rival the strength of forging, at fractions of the cost. If you want cheap, Rota is the preferred wheel, but as you'd expect, on occasion they suffer from quality issues.

Well there you go! Enkeis or OZs are my recommendation.
