    Mine stayed on thru the winter. Made for a couple exciting rides, but mostly ok. I'm still debating on getting a set of winter tires this year.

    That's not an option at all here, especially when we got nailed by that blizzard this past winter and I had to go into work in the early morning and the roads had not been plowed in quite awhile. There was good 18" of un plowed snow for most of the ride in. You can get away with not putting winter tires on up here until late nov and sometimes early Dec but we are almost guaranteed to get a few storms that will leave you stranded or put you off the road if you still had your summer tires on.
