    winter tire help!

    hey there! trying to shop for a set of 16" (215/55/16 of course) winter tires for Sasha who just turned 1 (3 weeks old, 1k mile break in ). found these Blizzak WS70s on craigslist.. any good?

    4 Bridgestone Blizzak ws70 215 55 16 on Rims

    I was going to order from tirerack but at the moment all they have available are Pirelli Carvings, Firestone Winterforce & Michelin X-Ice. you guys bought all the damn Gen. Altimax Arctics and Blizzacks!

    I use Blizzaks and I am very happy with them. I have no complaints at all. Some people may argue you could get as good a tire as them for cheaper, but as far as overall quality, I am pleased.

    There still appears to be a fair amount of tread on them. Although it is hard to tell. A lot of people will find the deepest part of the least worn down tire (if they have worn unevenly) to stick the penny!

    Blizzacks are great winter tires. However, the compound wears fast leaving them as good winter tires in only about 3000 miles.
